Pigeon alpha 0.1.0‑alpha.531
The first build of Pigeon's alpha. It is invite-only: you join with an invite code.
What's in it
- Installers for Windows 10 and for Linux: Ubuntu 22.04 and 24.04, Linux Mint 21 and 22.
- Find people by their handle, or swap contact codes, then message them.
- Five Pigeon servers carry your messages. The app trusts only the server list we sign, and checks that signature.
What this alpha leaves out
- Automatic updates are off. A new version installs over this one.
- The Windows installer isn't code-signed, so Windows may warn before it runs.
- Phones come later. This alpha is for desktop computers.
To join, request an invite. Installing it: installation.
